Completing your profile is easy
Supply your casting details
Complete the online application by filling out your appearance information and sizes. This information is used to create your online profile, which casting directors use to determine the types of roles you can portray. Be as accurate and thorough as possible.
Upload current photos
Upload a headshot and full body photo
Casting directors need a current headshot and full body photo to consider you for roles. These photos must only feature you, be framed correctly and taken in good lighting so your face is clearly visible.
Gather your Form I-9 documentation
When you arrive on the set to work as a background actor, the production company will require you to complete a federal Form I-9, which is used to collect proof that you are authorized to work in the US.
To complete the I-9 you will need:
- The required documentation from the Lists of Acceptable Documents
- If you present a document listed in List A, then you don’t need to show anything else from List B or C.
- If you don’t present a document in List A, then you must present TWO documents--one document from List B and one document from List C.
- You must present the original documents to the production company. No copies are allowed.
