My Voucher
Central Casting uses SmartVoucher, EP’s pioneering digital voucher technology, to pay background actors quickly, accurately and compliantly.
Depending on which state you signed up in, or your specific production, you may be asked to upload ID documents to your profile or you may be asked to provide these to production when you work.
If your production is using SmartVoucher, you will receive an email or can log in to your online profile to complete required tasks at your call time.
If your production is using paper vouchers, you will be given a voucher at check in and will need to fill out your full legal name, contact information and at least the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.

No, the on-set production representative will fill out your voucher throughout the workday, then send it to you to review at wrap. Be sure to raise any queries with production in person before leaving set.
Production should send you your voucher to review immediately at wrap. You should review and e-sign your voucher while still at the production location so any disputes can be raised and resolved in person.
It’s extremely important to review and approve your voucher while on set so you can resolve any queries in person.
- Once you’ve wrapped for the day and a production representative has checked you out, you will receive an email with a link to your voucher for approval. Click this link or log in to your profile and select “Job Review”.
- Review the information on your voucher carefully to ensure it is correct. If something is missing or incorrect, please inform the production representative. If you have already left the set, you can use the query box on the review page.
- Once you’re happy that your voucher is correct, click the “I approve” checkbox.
Note that you have 24 hours to approve or query your voucher, after which it will be deemed to be approved.
We suggest you review and raise these concerns while on set for the quickest remedy. If you are unable to review until you get home, select "Raise a query" from the Review page and type your question for production there.
We suggest you review your voucher while still on set so you have the opportunity to raise any questions in person with the production staff.
