Before You Arrive
After you've accepted an offer for work and are booked, you will receive a details message, which may include a link to a Booking Details Page or an additional resource from production.
Please note that only some Central Casting offices utilize the Booking Details Page. Please read your unique details message for instructions on how to get your booking details.
Casting directors and production companies compile your details from multiple departments within production and will likely not have your booking information until later in the evening before your workday.
When you receive your details message, please respond as soon as possible to confirm that you received it.
Your details will include all of the dates for your current booking. To see your booking history, click the Schedule button in your online profile.
If you are going to be late or need to cancel, please call your registered office. Click here to see our office phone numbers.
All of your work information is included in your booking details, which are sent via text message and email. If you are unable to access your details from the text message or email, you can always view your messages from the inbox of your online profile.
Your details will contain information on how to get call time changes. Be sure to check before you go to bed and when you wake up for possible updates.
Call times are set by production. While production may change the initial call time, background actors cannot request to change their call time. You should not accept a booking unless you are available for that day without time restrictions.
Depending on which state you signed up in, or your specific production, you may be asked to upload ID documents to your profile or you may be asked to provide these to production when you work.
Please arrive on set camera ready. Bring a photo I.D. and any additional documentation listed in your booking details.
Your booking details will also list any wardrobe or props requested by production.
If you’re a member of SAG-AFTRA, you’ll also need to bring your membership card. If you recently joined SAG-AFTRA, don't forget to update Central Casting by completing our SAG-AFTRA Updates Form.
Details on how to get to set will be in your booking details.
