Need to book minor background actors for your production? Babies from 15 days old to teenagers 17 years old (the legal minor age range) are eligible to work as background actors and doubles. With premium casting services in Los Angeles, New York, Georgia, and Louisiana, Central Casting handles minor start paperwork, including I-9s, W-4s, state withholding and age verification. Then we perform E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility, ensuring minor background actors are authorized to work in the United States prior to work date and saving your team time at check-in. While Central Casting books babies at least 15 days old, it is production's responsibility to hire a qualified baby nurse. Central Casting is not able to provide or book the baby nurse on production's behalf.

For background actors in Los Angeles and New York, we assign and track this state-mandated anti-harassment training. For productions filming in Georgia and Louisiana, Central Casting completes and obtains minor permits in accordance with local regulations.
