Minors
All steps after the Sign up button must be completed by the minor's parent or legal guardian on their behalf. A minor may not sign up to be a background actor for themself.

How your minor can work as a background actor
Complete the sign up process.
Supply your minor's info and current photos, then complete the Form I-9 for them to become eligible to work.

Casting opportunities change daily, check for messages from casting directors and search open roles for your minor.

How to sign up
Provide your minor's accurate sizes
Accurate sizes are important in the casting process, and Central Casting needs your minor’s sizes for a variety of reasons.

Upload a headshot and full body photo
Casting directors need a current headshot and full body photo of your minor to consider them for roles. These photos must only feature them, be framed correctly and taken in good lighting so their face is clearly visible.
If your minor’s photos do not meet Central Casting’s photo guidelines, you will not be able to continue signing them up and will receive an email with further instructions.
Complete the digital Form I-9
To sign your minor up in California, New York, Georgia or Louisiana, you must complete the digital Form I-9 before your minor will be eligible to work on our productions. Only the parent or legal guardian can complete this process, the minor cannot fill out the Form I-9 themselves.
After their photos are approved and you sign their forms, you can request a Form I-9 in the Onboarding Hub of their online profile.
To complete your minor’s Form I-9 you will need the required documentation from the List of Acceptable Documents.
After our staff review your minor’s Form I-9, you will receive an email from Central Casting letting you know they are eligible to work.
