As Louisiana filming remains busy, we have a reminder for everyone. Due to the framework of the incentive program, a good portion of filming will take place outside of the New Orleans metropolitan area. Most productions will not provide any mileage allowances as they expect casting to hire locals.
Many years ago, there were Facebook pages created to assist with carpooling to distant locations. While we can't endorse any specific pages, we encourage you to talk to your peers about these groups and utilize them to help you work on as many projects as possible.
