Central Casting Los Angeles at 300 E Magnolia Blvd.

Central Casting Los Angeles has moved into our new offices at 300 E Magnolia Blvd. in Downtown Burbank!

To accommodate the move, we have canceled registration from December 6-13, 2019. Keep an eye on our calendar for schedule updates and holiday closures. Our Casting Directors are still casting during this time, so be sure to check our Jobs page and reply to text messages.

We are introducing some new policies and procedures that are relevant to both registered talent and Background Actors who are registering for the first time. Read on for what you need to know about the move and how you can visit Central Casting Los Angeles.

What to know about our new office

By now you know that we require reservations for New Registration Onboarding, Minors Registration, Re-Registration and Updates, Visiting, Central Casting University, and other events. Everyone who visits Central Casting Los Angeles must have a reservation for an event; we are no longer holding “open window” hours and cannot accommodate drop in visits. If you are a registered Background Actor, all profile updates can be done by making a reservation for a Re-Registration and Updates session.

When you make a reservation, your confirmation email will include all instructions for your event, including where to meet. Please arrive no more than ten minutes early and do not loiter inside the lobby or outside the building. We share this complex with other tenants, so please respect our neighbors and proceed directly to the Central Casting office on the third floor.

Make a New Registration Onboarding reservation

It’s easy to register at Central Casting Los Angeles, just follow these steps to complete the online registration process:

  1. First, you’ll need to create a profile to use during online registration.
  2. After making a profile, you’ll be taken to the online portion of registration. Complete this step by filling out the necessary information.
  3. Then make a reservation to come to our office with your required documentation for New Registration Onboarding to finish paperwork and take a photo for our casting system.

In Los Angeles, reservations open exactly three days before an event starts. For example, reservations for a Monday session at 9:10am will open on Friday at 9:10am. Reservations fill up quickly, but check back as spots may open due to cancellations.

Please note: to complete registration and become eligible to work for Central Casting, you must make a reservation for and attend a New Registration Onboarding session, not a Re-Registration and Updates session.

Make a reservation for a Minors Registration session

We register babies 15 days old to teenagers 17 years old at our Minors Registration on Tuesdays at 3pm. To attend, make a reservation on our Kids page then bring your minor and their required documentation to your scheduled session. We do not register minors online; all onboarding takes place at Minors Registration.

Required documentation

Everyone who registers with Central Casting must present the required documentation to complete the I-9 form. Adults and minors are both required to either present one original unexpired List A document or an original unexpired List B and List C document combination. If presenting a List B document to an E-Verify employer (Central Casting), the employer can only see List B documents that include a photo. Per federal law, Central Casting is not permitted to register anyone, minor or adult, who does not have the required documentation. Please be sure to review the Lists of Acceptable Documents before coming to registration.

Make a Re-Registration and Updates, Visiting, or Central Casting University reservation

You can make a reservation for events at Central Casting Los Angeles by visiting our calendar, selecting the event you wish to attend, and clicking the “make a reservation” link. Reservations for these events open three days in advance from the time the event starts.

How to get to the new building

Our new building is located on the corner of Magnolia Blvd. and Third St. across from the Burbank Towne Center. If you are planning on driving, there are plenty of paid and free parking options in the area. Central Casting does not offer parking validation. Our offices are also accessible via public transit and the Downtown Burbank Metrolink, which is less than a mile walk.
